Knife Angel Opening Ceremony

To celebrate the arrival of the Knife Angel sculpture, an opening ceremony took place on Wednesday evening outside the Council House.

In recognition of their outstanding contributions against knife crime, Sandwell's 100 Anti-Violence Champions were invited to receive certificates as part of the ceremony. This included our staff from the Youth Justice Service, Horizons Team, Claire Martin and Clare Cowdrey. They received their certificates from Clive Knowles, founder of the British Ironwork Centre and the Youth Anti-Violence Educational Tour.

Well done to all of our staff for their hard work and commitment to making Sandwell a safer place for young people.
