Childhood Fostering Film

Our new film, simply called ‘Childhood’, highlights the impact of neglect on children. It shows the journey of ‘Sophie’ and ‘Charlie’ who are in a very difficult home situation where their needs are not being met, to being nurtured and supported through foster care to attend school and be able to enjoy their hobbies and interests. In other words, have a childhood.

There is an urgent need for more foster carers across the country. This film will be shared by all 56 partner foster services around the country who contributed to the making of this film. We hope that some of you watching ‘Childhood’ will consider whether fostering for Sandwell could be an option for you.
